2 years ago, I made this cake as my boy's only wish for his birthday...

He repeated this idea....they are almost identical, however the second time around it was MUCH faster!! I wonder if we will be back for round 3 next year???!!

Easter

So I am getting used to working (though minimally), studying (yes full time which means there are a few late nights in there) and keeping myself alive and well....one way I love to do this is creativity....have been seeing some ideas for "Easter trees" around for a while now and couldn't resist...I am getting better at 'just doing something" rather than making excuses (too tired etc)...my boys response after picking a few was "ooh it's nearly time for Christmas isn't it?" I'm thinking it could be a new tradition. I love the addition of the baby nest which the boy's Nana found and sent.
